About Our Nonprofit Organization:
We have provided volunteer service in collaboration with nationally
known charitable organizations, local social service agencies, and
churches. Our program has helped the community by assisting
with distribution of food, clothing, other items to meet the basic
needs of poor people in the community, and provide information
about how to start and operate numerous home-based small
businesses.
Magnet inc. became a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization in 1995.
Therefore, all contributions to our charity are tax deductible to the
full extent of the law. We have had board members from local
churches, The Salvation Army, and Urban League.
Membership is free, and all members are Board Members who
contribute their time and talent in any way they choose, with no
obligation. We especially need members who are good at fund
raising and recruiting new mentor and protege' members.
Magnet Inc. extends a friendly thank you to all our members for your
patronage, and for the confidence you have placed in us, and are
here to serve you in any way possible.
